Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong
Your journey begins with a warm pickup from Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, followed by a scenic drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Along the way, you will stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake, a vast reservoir surrounded by pine-covered hills, ideal for boating and photography. Once in Shillong, you’ll explore the charming Ward’s Lake with its quaint wooden bridges, the serene Lady Hydari Park known for its landscaped gardens and mini-zoo, and the Don Bosco Museum, which showcases the rich tribal culture of Northeast India. You’ll spend the night in Shillong, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunjee (Sohra)
After breakfast, head to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. En route, enjoy the breathtaking views from the Mawkdok Dympep Valley viewpoint, where you can also experience the thrill of ziplining across the deep gorge. The day's sightseeing includes the Garden of Caves, a hidden natural attraction with waterfalls, rock pools, and caves, followed by a visit to Wakaba Falls. Next, marvel at Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall, and then explore the fascinating Mawsmai Cave. The day ends with a visit to the iconic Seven Sisters Waterfall before settling in for the night at a hotel in Cherrapunjee.

Day 3: Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing
This day is dedicated to exploring some of Cherrapunjee S's most iconic natural wonders. Start with a trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge, an awe-inspiring man-made-natural structure formed from tangled roots across a stream, requiring a descent of nearly 3,500 steps. Continue the adventure to Rainbow Falls, a spectacular waterfall known for rainbows forming in its mist. Finally, unwind at the Blue Lagoon, a crystal-clear natural pool surrounded by lush greenery. Return for a restful night stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 4: Cherrapunji to Dawki
After breakfast, travel to Dawki, a quaint town near the Indo-Bangladesh border known for its pristine natural beauty. Visit the Dawki (Umngot) River, famous for its unbelievably clear waters, offering a glass-bottom illusion while boating. Later, explore Mawlynnong, celebrated as the Cleanest Village in Asia. Stroll through its neat bamboo paths, interact with locals, and see the nearby living root bridge. You’ll spend the night in Dawki, immersed in nature and tranquility.

Day 5: Dawki to Shillong via Sightseeing
Begin the day with a visit to the enchanting Phe Phe Waterfalls, a peaceful and less crowded spot ideal for nature lovers. Next, head to Krang Suri Waterfalls, known for its turquoise waters and perfect for a short swim or relaxation. Before heading back to Shillong, stop at the Bangladesh border viewpoint for a unique cross-country view. Arrive in Shillong in the evening and spend the night there.

Day 6: Shillong to Guwahati – Departure
On the final day of the trip, enjoy a relaxed morning visit to the majestic Laitlum Canyon, often referred to as the “End of the Hills,” where you can soak in panoramic views of deep gorges and misty cliffs. Conclude the tour with a stop at the Shillong View Point for a stunning bird’s-eye view of the entire city. Afterward, you’ll be dropped off at Guwahati Railway Station or Airport for your journey back home, marking the end of a memorable Meghalaya adventure.
